Thank You Volunteers!

Thank You!

Thank you for volunteering to judge the 2022 Annual Pennsylvania School Bus Driver Safety Competition on June 11, 2022 in State College.  The competition will be held at the Mt. Nittany Middle School.  Final judge assignments will be announced at the orientation meeting on Friday, June 26.  Make sure to click the "New Registration" button below to complete all your information needed. Thank you again!

Luncheon Tickets

All judges will receive a complimentary luncheon ticket for the Safety Competition luncheon and presentation of trophies on Saturday, June 11, 2022.  Luncheon tickets will be distributed at the Judges Orientation on Friday evening.  If you are planning on bringing your spouse or guests to the Safety Competition luncheon, you will be responsible for purchasing a ticket for that individual(s).  The additional tickets will be in your Judge Orientation packet.  You must purchase additional tickets for the luncheon in advance, see form below.

Judge Responsibilities

All judges are expected to be present at 6:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, in order to review the course and fill judge vacancies for “no-shows.”  To be consistent with scoring (as in past years), Team Leaders will be selected to do all the score keeping of a particular event.  There will also be spot checking in order for the Safety Competition to maintain a level of fairness and equal competition for all the contestants.

Chairs

If you wish to sit down while working on the Safety Competition course, please do not hesitate to bring a chair with you.  It is also recommended to be prepared for rain.  The competition will continue in rainy conditions
