New training requirements for entry-level CDL drivers are going into effect on February 7, 2022. This full-day training program will provide you with information on how these federal requirements will impact your operations, as well as how best to prepare so you are ready in complinace by the February 2022. This program will include an AM session, lunch and time for Q&A. Non-Members please contact the PSBA office for more information. Beverly has been a part of the School Bus Industry and the Krapf Group for the past 29 years. She is currently the training manager for the SBE division. As a manager, she also oversees the third-party site locations and is one of the IU Coordinators/ Instructors and Examiners for the Krapf Group. Beverly is responsible for keeping Training departments in compliance with State and Federal regulations. Her Team of Trainers and Examiners facilitates training and CDL testing for new oncoming bus driver candidates and pre-existing employees while using Classroom and BTW techniques to comply with federal and state regulations. Future training responsibilities will include overseeing the ELDT requirements. In addition, Beverly provides quality service to internal and external stakeholders and is currently part of an industry task force working with PennDOT to enhance school bus driver training. Throughout her 29 years within the Industry, Beverly has been a continuous part of the School Bus Safety competition either as a competitor and now setting up the course and working closely with the Judges.
