PSBA 2019 Regional Meetings

Our second topic for the evening will cover the upcoming changes to Entry Level Driver Training Standards. This topic will be presented by Beverly Peppernick, Training Manager for the Krapf Group. In January 2017, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) announced a Final Rule establishing comprehensive national minimum training standards for entry-level bus operators seeking to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) or certain endorsements. The Final Rule, which has a compliance date of February 7, 2020, applies to first-time applicants for Class A and Class B CDLs and current CDL holders seeking a license upgrade or an additional endorsements.

In addition, regional meeting attendees will have receive an update on the E.R.I.C. Program and have an opportunity to meet with representatives from Keystone to learn more about the new PSBA-Keystone Dental & Vision Benefits!
